Down the Subatomic Rabbit Hole

The world of subatomic particles is fascinating, strange, and very much unexplained, Scientists have been exploring and studying these particles for ages. But now it's time to put certainty to one side and explore the wild, mind-bending world of undiscovered particles. Will all the unknown particles ever be known? And if so, have they been set to be discovered?

Preview It!

With all of this technology, what have we learned about the structure of matter? When physicists first began using accelerators in the 1950s and1960s, they discovered hundreds of particles smaller than the three well-known subatomic particles -- protons, neutrons and electrons. As bigger accelerators were built, ones that could provide higher energy beams, more particles were found. Most of these particles exist for only fractions (less than a billionth) of a second, and some particles combine to form more stable composite particles. Some particles are involved in the forces that hold the nucleus of the atom together, and some are not. In examining this complicated picture, a standard model of the atom has emerged.

@0:12 - The objective of particle physics, is to understand the basic structure of laws and nature. All the way from largest dimension of the universe, formation of galaxies and stars all the way down to the smallest dimension in the microscopic.

It became much more complicated in the beginning of the 20th century, when we found many, many new particles. There wasn't really a system established to organize this zoo of particles, so we were calling these new particles things like pi, sigma, beta, delta, and so on and things got so bad we were running out of symbols to name these particles.

@1:25 - We started organizing these particles according to the properties they have, and the properties are things like . . . spin, electrical (+ -) charge, mass of the particles and the lifetime of the particles.

What's beyond the Standard Model?
"Some of the things beyond the standard model are things like, dark matter, strings, supersymmetry, or even extra-dimensions."

All these, and more will be made known.

Quantum Gravity

We know that if you take an atom, and it's anti-equivalent, and combine them, they will annihilate each other. Their annihilation produces energy. This is great and all, but what happens when a graviton and an anti-graviton combine?

The standard model is extremely successful and has predicted all the phenomenon we have seen so far as the microscopic level. It is self consistent, is predictive, but is incomplete.

There's one last missing piece of this puzzle, that's the higgs boson.
It's the holy grail of particle physics.

- Bonus Reveal -
There are Three to the Structure of Matter (which includes the Higgs)
because it represent the Trinity of ELOHIM; the creator of those things.

And they (Quarks, Leptons, Bosons) have more to them,
because they are the natural representation of the nature of GOD.

Particles beyond the Standard Model would be a welcome find, physicists say, because the model currently has no way of explaining dark matter or many other mysteries of nature. Some physicists suspect the universe is inhabited by more particles than the theory describes — such as a panoply of particles predicted by an idea called supersymmetry — but so far, these particles have been elusive. -Source
