THIS POST WILL EXPLAIN AND REVEAL THE ORIGIN OF AN ANCIENT MAYAN RITUAL TO THE WORLD.
The Maya were an empire, not tribes. According to national geographic all settlements would have been within 20km of a pyramid. The empire was also very interconnected. There is indeed much debate as to whether the Mayans practiced human sacrifice as the Aztecs did. But after 4,000 years, the mystery remains: what were the origins to their inhumane offering? What made them so sure of their power over the sky? Is the answer to all these questions written in their temple? And if so, could the movie APOCALYPTO give us the keys to unlocking its true history?

For this very informative, extraordinary quote:
"REJOICE! KUKULKAN HAS DRUNK HIS FILL OF BLOOD."

The sacrifice offering was stripped and painted blue, which was the colour representing sacrifice, and was made to wear a peaked headdress.
"You'll never guess why they chose the color BLUE."
Hint #1: Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability.
It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.
Hint #2: Blue is the third primary color. It spiritually signifies the Healing Power of God.
Hint #3: Blue connects us to our spiritual side and the energy of the universe.
"Blue represents the breath of life itself, known as 'zoe'."
Remember this, because we will be coming back to it.
Zoe: of the absolute fullness of life, both essential and ethical, which belongs to God

During the pre-Columbian era, human sacrifice in Maya culture was the ritual offering of nourishment to the gods. Blood was viewed as a potent source of nourishment for the Maya deities, and the sacrifice of a living creature was a powerful blood offering. By extension, the sacrifice of a human life was the ultimate offering of blood to the gods, and the most important Maya rituals culminated in human sacrifice. Generally only high status prisoners of war were sacrificed, with lower status captives being used for labour.
You Know This:
The Olmec, Mayan, Incan, and Aztec civilizations are some of the greatest ancient civilizations in history, and yet we know very little about them compared to other parts of the world. The Olmecs are frequently forgotten entirely, and the rest are often lumped together or confused, but they were all completely distinct. In short, the Maya came first, and settled in modern-day Mexico. Next came the Olmecs, who also settled Mexico. They didn’t build any major cities, but they were widespread and prosperous. They were followed by the Inca in modern-day Peru, and finally the Aztecs, also in modern-day Mexico.
The Maya had what was arguably the most advanced civilization in the Americas. For example, they made dramatic breakthroughs in astronomy that helped them very accurately predict where the moon and other planets would be in the sky centuries in the future. They also left behind many books and stone inscriptions that recorded the stories of their gods and the history of their divine kings and queens. These historical records were written in a language made of hieroglyphs, special pictures that represent words or sounds.
And Finally, This:
Experts in the field simply do not have enough solid information to state with clear-cut certainty how the Maya civilization ended. The downfall of the ancient Maya was likely caused by some combination of the factors above.
DIGGING INTO THE MAYA MYSTERY:
In a Central American jungle, archaeologists and volunteers uncover ruins of the once-powerful civilization
"Jaguar paw and his group would have known about the city of the Maya."
Heart removal Mayan Ritual:
During the Postclassic period (c. 900–1524) the most common form of human sacrifice was heart extraction, influenced by the method used by the Aztecs in the Valley of Mexico.
Human remains such as bones and teeth can reveal what diseases the ancient Maya faced, or whether they were sacrificed.
THIS TITLE IS ACCURATE TO THIS SP REVEAL:
Gibson has defined the title as "a new beginning or an unveiling – a revelation"; he says "Everything has a beginning and an end, and all civilizations have operated like that". The Greek word (ἀποκαλύπτω, apokaluptō) is in fact a verb meaning "I uncover", "disclose", or "reveal".
